2. Enhancement

Control Batch Basket Size in Skyvva Batch and Auto-Switch Mode

Previously, changing Batch Package Size on the Salesforce interface did not change the number of records placed in each basket. The adapter used Transfer Package Size or other package settings instead.

For example, when the effective basket size was 20, sending 5,000 records created 250 baskets. Users could not increase the basket size by changing Batch Package Size.

Version 1.2.4 now reads Batch Package Size from the Salesforce interface.

Users can choose how many records should be placed in each basket when using:

This gives users more control over how large data transfers are divided into baskets.

How to Apply the Change

  1. Upgrade the affected SAP BTP iFlow to adapter version 1.2.4.
  2. In the SKYVVA receiver settings, select Skyvva Batch or Auto-Switch as the processing mode.
  3. In Salesforce, open the affected Interface.
  4. Set Batch Package Size, for example, to 500, and save.
  5. Redeploy the iFlow so the adapter reads the updated setting.
  6. Send a test message and check the created batch baskets in Salesforce.

For 5,000 records processed in batch mode, setting Batch Package Size \= 500 should create 10 baskets containing 500 records each.

Compared with a basket size of 20, this reduces the number of baskets from 250 to 10, making the transfer easier to monitor and manage.

Note: The iFlow must still be redeployed after changing Salesforce interface settings.

SAP CPI SKYVVA Salesforce Adapter 1.2.4 – Enhanced Message Processing and Reliability

In the previous version, failures could occur when processing large or hierarchical messages, XML mappings, expired Salesforce sessions, temporary connection errors, or Salesforce processing limits. V2 asynchronous processing also had compatibility restrictions, sometimes requiring manual investigation and reprocessing.

We have enhanced Version 1.2.4 to improve asynchronous IMessage processing for V2 and V3:

Users can now process larger and more complex data volumes between SAP BTP Integration Suite and Salesforce with fewer failures, less manual reprocessing, and improved monitoring.

Upgrade Note

Upgrade affected iFlows from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4, redeploy them, and test representative large XML, JSON, and hierarchical messages. Batch Apex – Large Message (non-transactional) is no longer selectable in version 1.2.4.
