3. Bug Fixed

Fixes for Uploading and Saving Source Definitions

The following issues have been resolved:

1. Clearer confirmation when saving a source definition

Previously, uploading a source-definition file displayed a confusing confirmation: OK meant merge, while Cancel meant overwrite.

The new Save Source Definition window provides two clear options:

Merge is selected by default. Click Save to apply your choice, or Cancel to leave the existing fields unchanged.

2. Updated file upload label

The upload label has changed from XML/CSV File to XML / CSV / JSON File to clearly show all supported formats.

Fixed Interface Pages Not Opening with IP Session Locking Enabled

Previously, users could not open SKYVVA Interface pages when Salesforce’s “Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated” security setting was enabled. The interface tree and details did not load, and users saw “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0').”

SKYVVA previously retrieved the Interface page layout through a Visualforce page. This request could be blocked by Salesforce’s IP session locking setting.

SKYVVA now uses its own Interface layouts:

Users can now open Interface pages and view the interface tree and details while keeping IP session locking enabled. No change to the Salesforce security setting is required.

Fixed to Handle Messages Alert When Saving, Reordering, and Deleting Interfaces

Previously, a failed save could appear successful, leaving users unaware that their changes had not been saved.

SKYVVA now reports the error when saving fails. For example, linking an Inbound adapter to an Outbound interface is blocked by the validation message “Cannot add inbound adapter for outbound interface”. Users must correct the adapter selection and save again.

A successful save displays “Interface updated successfully”, followed by the interface record ID.

2. Reordering interfaces

Previously, SKYVVA could display “Reorder interfaces successfully” even when the new order was not saved.

SKYVVA now displays “Reorder failed” with the error returned by Salesforce when saving fails. After the order is successfully saved, it displays “Interface reorder successfully”.

3. Deleting an interface

Previously, a failed deletion could display an error, but the page immediately refreshed and hid the message alert.

SKYVVA now keeps the page open and displays the error so users can understand why deletion failed. If the interface no longer exists, it reports “Interface not found or already deleted.”

After successful deletion, SKYVVA displays “Interface successfully deleted.” and refreshes the page.

Fixed ot Keep Callout Parameters When Retrieving the Next Page

Previously, query parameters, header parameters, and path parameters supplied in the callout script could be lost when retrieving the next page. Customers could receive records outside their requested filters or encounter an error.

SKYVVA now preserves these parameters for all pagination callouts, so customers can retrieve the expected records using the same filters and request settings on every page.

For example, when a customer requests records within a specific date range, that date filter remains applied when retrieving the second page and all following pages.

This fix applies to these V3 outbound adapters: REST, GraphQL, IFS, Microsoft Azure Databricks, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Graph API, Monday.com, OData, Sage 100, ServiceNow, SOAP, and Workday.
